What helps people deeply heal are brain-based interventions that understand the nature of our nervous system and how people heal, whether that be from toxic stress, attention and concentration problems, mood, or anxiety. As such, Dr. Claypool has dedicated his practice to learning these interventions and their application. He takes this same lens when working with athletes, whether that's to recover from an injury, treat a mental disorder, or learn to consistently perform optimally. He has experience treating ages as young as 6 through the lifespan.
Dr. Claypool works from a nervous system-based perspective. He is trained in EMDR, Biofeedback, and Neurofeedback in additional to traditional psychotherapy. He works to match the best therapeutic interventions to both the reason for referral to therapy and to each individual client.
Dr. Claypool works diligently to build helping relationships with his clients from a nonjudgmental and accepting stance. He finds the blend of neuro-based interventions blended with a compassionate psychologist to be highly effective and will work to provide you with quality care at every step of your journey.
